Emily Hampshire was born in Montreal, Canada and she was raised in Montreal. Emily Hampshire was a student at a convent which was where she participated in many school productions and learned that she was a performer. Her TV career at a very young age and was later cast in the film 'Dead Innocent. When the film was released of her debut film, she relocated to Toronto, where she worked in various roles. From 2007 to 2009 she played Nadine Crowell on the soap-opera General Hospital. One of her best known parts has been her role as Adalind Schade in the popular television series Grimm in 2011. Coffee is also known for her recurring roles in the role of Cassie Tatum on the TV series The West Wing in 2003 as well as Janie Ross on the show Franklin and Bash from 2011 to 2012. Coffee also appeared on the TV programs Yes, Dear, Cold Case, Strong Medicine, NCIS, Bones, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Psych, CSI: Miami, The League, Royal Pains, The Good Guys, CSI: Miami, Psych, CSI: Miami, The League, Royal Pains and The Good Guys. Claire Thile as well as Nickel Creek guitarist Chris Thile have been married since 2013.
